Terms and Conditions

Included in your registration: Services of our tour guide(s) and on-board tour administrator; meals specifically listed in the tour itinerary (excludes “on your own” meals); motor coach transportation; entry fees to all museums, parks or other tour destinations; bus driver gratuity; map packet or program; bottled water on the bus.

Not included in your registration: Transportation to our headquarters hotel or starting point; hotel accommodations (unless specifically indicated in the tour itinerary); trip cancellation/interruption and baggage insurance; hotel incidentals (if lodging is otherwise included); and meals not specifically mentioned as included in the registration.  

Cancellation and Refunds: Registration costs will be refunded IN FULL when requested in writing not less than 45 days from the start of the tour. Requests for refunds made less than 45 days before the start of the tour may be refunded in full, or may be adjusted (reduced or pro-rated) due to costs already incurred by the tour operator.

Woodbury Historical Tours reserves the right to decline any person as a participant on a tour, or to require any participant to withdraw from the tour at any time, when such action is determined by tour staff to be in the best interests of the health, safety or general welfare of the tour group or the individual participant. In such a case, a refund equal to the actual cost of the unused services is the limit of Woodbury Historical Tours’ responsibility.

Woodbury Historical Tours is not responsible for any costs incurred due to travel delays, flight cancellations, or sickness. Woodbury Historical Tours is not responsible for penalties incurred from the purchase of nonrefundable airline tickets. Should events beyond the control of Woodbury Historical Tours necessitate the cancellation of the program after the tour has begun, a full refund of land costs will be calculated based on the cost of services used up to the time of the group’s return.

Itinerary or Program Modifications: Changes to the itinerary are not anticipated, but individual tour itineraries are always subject to change, based on unexpected or unavoidable circumstances.

RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT AND LIABILITY DISCLAIMER: Woodbury Historical Tours acts only as an agent for the respective suppliers by making arrangements for transportation, accommodations, other services, and facilities. Woodbury Historical Tours’ responsibility is limited to that of an agent. Woodbury Historical Tours shall not be held liable for personal injury, death, property damage or accident, delay or irregularity arising out of the act, negligence, or omission of any direct carrier, hotel or travel service or other person rendering any of the services being offered in connection with the tours.

Woodbury Historical Tours accepts no liability for the purchase of non-refundable airline tickets to the tour departure city and return. Baggage and personal effects are at all times the sole responsibility of the participant. Dates, schedules, program details, and costs, although provided in good faith based on information available at the time of publication, are subject to change and revision.
 
AS A CONDITION OF ACCEPTANCE OF ANY APPLICATION, EACH TOUR ATTENDEE MUST AGREE TO THE STATEMENT BELOW:

The attendee has read carefully the Responsibility Statement and Liability Disclaimer set forth above, the schedule of activities for this tour, as well as the terms and conditions of application and participation as set forth in the tour brochure, flyer, or website, and recognizes and accepts any risk associated with the tour and the conditions. The attendee further acknowledges that there are many risks and uncertainties inherent in any travel tour, including but not limited to the hazards of various modes of transportation, forces of nature, acts or omissions of foreign governments, terrorism, war or insurrection, theft, illness, and damage to person or property due to the negligent acts or omissions of tour staff or others. In consideration of, and as part payment for, the right to participate in the tour, the attendee, on behalf of himself, his dependents, heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, agrees to release Woodbury Historical Tours from liability for personal injury, death, property damage or loss suffered by any person in connection with this tour, even if caused by the negligence (but not the reckless, willful, or fraudulent conduct) of tour staff or other related persons or entities. In addition, by registering for this tour, the attendee certifies that he or she is mentally and physically capable of full participation in this tour. By registering for a tour with Woodbury Historical Tours, the participant(s) agrees to the Responsibility Statement and Liability Disclaimer and the Terms and Conditions herein.
